Since 2011, SODC has been more than a dance studio – it’s a movement. Directed by award-winning choreographer and coach, Ebonee Arielle (aka Coach Ebonee), our program opens doors for dancers of all ages and abilities. From preschool beginners to professional performers, SODC is a stepping stone to opportunity for each dancer who Shows Up and steps onto our dance floor.
We partner with public and private schools as a certified LAUSD vendor, offering after-school enrichment, physical education initiatives, performing arts electives, assemblies, special events and entertainment. We are thrilled to share that Show Off Dance is also partnered with the Regional Centers and healthcare providers to service special needs and dance therapy clientele. At our studios, you’ll find classes, competition teams, camps, privates lessons and individualized dance therapy and care for students of all ages. Beyond the classroom, SODC is also known for creating unforgettable live experiences. From birthday parties, quince surprise dances, and weddings to corporate entertainment and custom productions, our shows have been getting people on their feet — creating lasting memories for each client. Coach Ebonee is also recognized for her choreography and casting services, providing dancers and creative direction for music videos, shows, film & TV. Other notable performance & choreography credits include: Dancing with Nicki Minaj on Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale Tour and performing at the Billboard Music Awards, backup dancing for Ne-Yo, featured on America’s Best Dance Crew, SYTYCD Vegas, and choreographing for the LA Sparks WNBA dance crews, Dancing with the Stars finale episode and choreographing, casting International 90's Mega Tours featuring Montell Jordan, Mark McGrath, C+C Music Factory, Tone Loc, Chris Kirpatrick of NSYNC and many more!
With Coach Ebonee’s leadership, our youth teams have won dozens of trophies, while our crews have earned LA’s Performing Artist of the Year award and been featured on America’s Got Talent as well as LA’s hottest stages, including Universal CityWalk, Choreographer’s Carnival, and Jeté. Through SODC’s training and performance opportunities, Coach Ebonee’s students have signed with top agents, toured with major artists, built careers as professional teachers, and even become TikTok stars — turning dreams into careers while building lifelong friendships and mentorships along the way. Through scholarships and a thriving work-study program, Coach Ebonee has awarded thousands of dollars in training, created countless opportunities, and changed thousands of lives.
From partnering with nonprofit organizations like A World Fit for Kids and AmeriCorps, bringing dance to under-resourced communities, to choreographing for Hollywood’s biggest stages and productions, Coach Ebonee’s 20-year career bridges both community impact and industry excellence.
